About Dr. Gurevich

Dr. Gurevich is a board-certified naturopathic physician and acupuncturist who graduated from the oldest accredited naturopathic medical school in the country, the National University of Natural Medicine. Her Chinese medicine training is in Classical Chinese medicine, which uses the ancient texts of China as the foundation of education. She integrates the healing powers of the mind, body, and spirit to provide holistic healthcare for her patients.

Currently, Dr. Gurevich exclusively treats inflammatory bowel disease and functional GI disorders, including IBS and SIBO.  She has been specializing in the treatment of the intestinal system for over a decade.  She uses her knowledge of Chinese medicine and naturopathic medicine combined with a deep understanding of mainstream treatment options and may include those in her treatment plans.

Dr. Gurevich combines conventional medical diagnostics with effective natural therapies to restore the body’s innate ability to heal. She believes that the body has an inherent ability to cure itself, and she views her role as an assistant in that process. She can support the body’s natural balance, as well as remove obstacles to health. Dr. Gurevich relies heavily on her Chinese medicine training to provide further care for her patients.

Dr. Gurevich is a naturopathic medical physician and an acupuncturist who uses individualized natural therapies to address the underlying cause of disease. She encourages her patients to take an active role in their health care. Dr. Gurevich relies on a variety of natural modalities, including Chinese and Western herbal medicine, acupuncture, nutritional supplements, homeopathy, hydrotherapy, and dietary education.

Dr. Gurevich spent the first four years of her professional career running a very busy private practice in Portland, Oregon. During this time, she practiced as a primary care provider treating women and men of all ages in an integrative clinic. She then moved to New York City to practice in an integrative psychiatric clinic.  During this time, Dr. Gurevich worked with a holistic psychiatrist helping patients come off of medications.  She gained expertise in treating depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder while assisting patients to become medication free.
